Stay safe
Here are a few of the ways our school ensures our students stay safe:
When children go off site we give each of them a wristband with the school's name and telephone number on.
As part of a redevelopment of our entrance area magnetic locks will be fitted to all outside doors to make our school site secure.
New fencing has been placed around our playground and foundation stage play areas to increase site security.
First aid training sessions are offered to parents and children through the St. Johns ambulance.
Risk assessments are carefully completed for all activities and especially trips off site.
A core component of our curriculum is to stress personal safety and the importance of making positive choices.
Sun hats with flaps to give protection from the sun are available to all children.
Our uniform has been developed so that our children are always recognisable as being from Beeford Primary.
Our infants have recieved training in safety around the home from CASCARE.
Paramedics, fire and police all visit i during the year to speak to our children.
Our school is a signatory to the ‘Safe School’s Charter’.
Our children participate in the ‘Lifestyles’ project run by Humberside Police.
School purchased ' Safety on the internet' leaflets for each of our families.
Pupils recieve a water safety talk each year by staff from Hornsea Leisure Centre.
