Local Community

On the 25th June 2009 the school held an open day to celebrate the wonderful activities that are available in the school and in the local community. 

A team of people from Sure Start and the Extended School Services came to give advice and to show what services they offer.

Two years ago the school was under water in the 2007 floods, the open day celebrated how the school has recovered and moved forward from that awful day. 

A variety of people came, some past pupils from many years ago, who told tales of how the school used to be.

The PTFA arranged many fundraising activities, such as face painting and cake stalls.
